Hi students and parents!
This is where you will find everything that you need to know about math class. I will post information regularly, so check in often.
Each week in math class I will be providing my students with a lesson plan. Homework assignments and upcoming quizzes and tests will be noted. This information can also be found on the specific course page of this website. Occasionally, I will give a surprise quiz in class to see who’s been paying attention! Homework assignments are usually given an effort grade. I expect each problem to be attempted and the work shown. We will check the answers in the class the next day and hopefully learn from any mistakes. Late homework will only be accepted until the chapter test on that material and will be given half credit. Students are responsible for completing assignments missed during an excused absence. The student’s grades can be found on Power School.
It is my desire that all of my students are successful! The best way to do that is to take careful notes in class, study them, do all class and homework assignments, learn from mistakes, ask questions in class, prepare for quizzes and tests, and don’t give up even when the work is challenging. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me either by calling or sending an email. Hopefully, together we can support your son or daughter and help them have a great learning experience.
Sincerely,
Debbie Rosensteel
